While stepping out in a wide range of looks on the red carpet, Miller tells she prefers to channel '90s-era Calvin Klein minimalism. "I'm drawn back to that era of understatement; there's something timeless about it," she says while wearing a backless Maryam Nassir Zadeh slip fresh off the Fall 2022 runways. "I feel most comfortable in that kind of thing that's undone." As for go-to wardrobe staples, Miller can't get enough of an ivory pair of jeans from Margaret Howell as well as a really good striped T-shirt. "I have not taken them off since I bought them." She describes this ensemble as her "classic look,"— and we'd agree the pairing is a failsafe outfit combination. "This is me trying to say I'm chic but don't notice me."
For a going-out look, Miller reaches for her favorite '60s-era vintage frock she picked up at 9th Street Vintage in New York City. The silhouette is a nod to Edie Sedgwick-inspired style, who Sienna happened to have played earlier on in her career in the film Factory Girl. "The only clothes in my wardrobe that I don't get bored of are my vintage [ones]." For her interpretation of early-aughts style, Miller demonstrates her way of doing denim on denim. "I love double denim and I love shades of blue," she says. To round out the casual daytime look, she adds classic Wayfarers and vintage jewelry to her favorite pair of comfy vintage jeans and what she describes as the "perfect T-shirt."
I am in the process of moving, so all of my purchases have been home-related. I'm particularly excited for my new off-white sheets from Parachute, this rattan lamp from Urban Outfitters, and these striped Tekla towels that I've wanted for ages. I have been searching everywhere for an elevated slide that I can take from summer to fall, so when I found these Chloé mules (on sale!) the other day, it was love at first sight. The comfort level screams slippers from a five-star hotel, and the look says "It girl on the go."
